Gorge Discovery Zone event – October 23rd, 2021, 10 am

Parents, join
your kids for our free RRG Discovery Zone event at the Red River
Gorge Farmer’s Market, 30 L & E Railroad Place, Slade KY. Kids
of all ages welcome! Must be accompanied by an adult.� The RRG
Discovery Zone is a pop-up event providing hands-on Science,
Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities for
pre-school through 12th-grade kids that also ties to the mixed
mesophytic forest, Red River Gorge, and local history. Sponsored
by TC Energy Foundation, Powell County Tourism, University of
Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service, KY Retired Teacher’s
Association, DAR, and Red River Historical Society and Museum.� We
